THE same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

2 And great 'multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a 'ship, and and the whole multitude stood on the shore. 3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to

MARK, iv. 1: And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea.

the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, "By hearing ye shall hear,

inheritance in the saints. do. iii. 9: And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God. CoL. i. 26, 27: Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 1 JOHN, ii. 27: But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you; and ye need not that any man teach you: But, as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie; and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

5 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and Er ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes y have closed; lest at any time they should with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and uld understand with their heart, and should be verted, and I should heal them.

6 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: your ears, for they hear.

LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, hath closed your eyes; the prophets and your rulers, the hath he covered. JER. v. 21: Hear now this, O foolish le, and without understanding; which have eyes, and ot; which have ears, and hear not. EZEK. xii. 2: Son of thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear for they are a rebellious house. MARK, iv. 12: That g they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may and not understand; lest at any time they should be erted, and their sins should be forgiven them. LUKE, 0: And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysof the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not -stand.
