THE same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, "By hearing ye shall hear,

6 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: your ears, for they hear.

LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, hath closed your eyes; the prophets and your rulers, the hath he covered. JER. v. 21: Hear now this, O foolish le, and without understanding; which have eyes, and ot; which have ears, and hear not. EZEK. xii. 2: Son of thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear for they are a rebellious house.
