Should have judged necessary, had not a controverfy been started in confequence of my first Preface, I feel no inclination to weary the Reader with any further Preliminaries. They who wish to see what was written against the Preface to the First Edition, may peruse a pamphlet intitled " Letters to Vicefimus Knox, D. D. occafioned by his Reflections on Unitarian Chriftians;" by John Difney, D. D. F. S. A. printed for fobnfon in St. Paul's Church Yard.

I am indebted to the kindness of a perfect Stranger-Mr. Henry Barry Peacock, who dates his publication from York, for a pamphlet in anfwer to the above, intitled "Free Remarks occafioned by the Letters of John Difney, D.D. F. S. A. to, &c. printed for Pridden.

The Public will judge. The Public has indeed judged favourably, if a conclufion may be drawn from the reception which it has given to these humble attempts to maintain the honour of Chrif tianity.
