LUKE 22.39-He came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him,

Jesus promises to appear to his disciples in Galilee.

MATT. 26 31-Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.

32 But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.

33 Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.

MARK 14. 30-And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.

31 But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise.

Jesus prayeth a second time.

MATT. 26. 42-He went away again the second time, and prayed,

MARK 14. 39-and spake the same words:

MATT. 26. 42-saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

Jesus cometh to his disciples a second time.

MARK 14. 40-And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,). neither wist they what to answer him.

Jesus prayeth a third time.

MATT. 26. 44-And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

MARK 14. 41-And he cometh the third time
MATT. 26, 45-to his disciples, and saith unto
them, Sleep on now, and take your rest:
MARK 14. 41-it is enough:

MATT. 26. 45-behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

46 Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

Jesus goeth to the eight.

LUKE 22. 45-And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

Judas betrays Jesus.

JOHN 18. 2-And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.

3 Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.

5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.

6 As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went back ward, and fell to the ground. 7 Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.

8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their

way:

9 That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

MATT. 26. 48-Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast,

MARK 14. 44-and lead him away safely.

45 And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway

LUKE 22. 47-and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him;

LUKE 22.52-Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves

LUKE 22, 53-When I was daily with you* in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

MATT. 26, 56-But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.
