the Scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment :
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the 'altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way: first be "reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.9

men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. ROM. ix. 31: Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousdo. x. 3: They being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

27¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit 'adultery:
my Father which is in heaven. Roм. xii. 18: If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 1 TIM. ii. 8: I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting. 1 PET. iii. 7: That your prayers be not hindered.
LUKE, xii. 58, 59: When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison. I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.

'EXOD. XX. 14: Thou shalt not commit adultery. Repeated DEUT.V. 18. LEV. xviii. 20: Thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife to defile thyself with her. do. xx. 10: He that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. DEUT. xxii. 22: If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die. PRO. vi. 32: Whoso committeth adultery with a woman, lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. MAL. iii. 5: I will be a swift witness against the adulterers. MARK, vii. 21: From within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications. JOHN, viii. 4, 5: Master, this woman was taken in adultery in the very act. Now Moses commanded us that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? HEB. xiii. 4: Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman 10 to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
29 And if thy "right eye offend thee,11 ́° pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish,

JOB, xxxi. 1: I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid. PRO. vi. 25: Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. 2 PET. ii. 14: Having eyes full of adultery. See GEN. xxxiv. 2. 2 SAM. xi. 2.
" Ps. cxix. 37: Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity. MAT. xviii. 8, 9: Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee; it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. If thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. MARK, ix. 43, 47: If thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out : it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
MAT. xix. 12: There are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb; and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. ROM. viii. 13: If ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the spirit, do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 1 COR. ix. 27: I keep under my body, and bring it unto subjection lest that by any means when I have preached to others, I myself should be a cast-away. COL. iii. 5: Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, &c.
and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall "put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement.
32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall "put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth
33 Again, ye have heard 'that it hath been

MARK, X. 11: Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. ROM. vii. 3: So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. 1 COR. vii. 10, 11: Unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband and let not the husband put away his wife.
MAT. xxiii. 16: Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say,
said by them of old time, 'Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shall 'perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
34 But I say unto you, "Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool : neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
whosoever shall swear by the temple it is nothing: but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor.
S EXOD. XX. 7: The 3rd commandment. DEUT. V. 11: The same. LEV. xix. 12: Ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou prophane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. NUM. XXX. 2: If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

Ps. xlviii. 2: Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. do. lxxxvii. 3: Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. REV. xxi. 2, 10: And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.
