f MAT. vii. 16, 17: Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit: but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. LUKE, vi. 43, 44: A good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit: neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit: for every tree is known by his own fruit. MAT.. xii. 35: A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things; and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

ECCLES. xii. 14: For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. EPH. v. 4, 6: Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient; but rather giving of thanks. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. JUDE, 15: To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
