15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those

servants.

39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.

19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.

20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth

607. 24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

608. 25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

609. 26 The servant there

fore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 610. 27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. 611. 28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou

owest. 612. 29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

613. 30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

614. 31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

2 And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thousayest it.

3 And the Chief Priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.

615. 32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

616. 33 Shouldest not thou
also have had compas-
sion on thy fellowservant,
even as I had pity on
thee?

617. 34 And his lord was
wroth, and delivered him
to the tormentors, till he
should pay all that was
due unto him.
618. 35 So likewise shall
my heavenly Father do
also unto you, if ye from
your hearts forgive not
every one his brother
their trespasses.

4 And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing behold how many things they witness against thee.

5 But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.

6 Now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired.

7 And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.

49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

53 The father shall be divided against the son, and

29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

31 Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

32 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you.
