15 And God faid moreover unto Mofes, Thus thalt thou fay unto the children of If rael, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Ifaac, and the God of Jacob hath fent me unto you: this my name for ever, and this my memo rial unto all generations.

16 Go and gather the elders of Ifrael to gether, and fay unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Ifaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, faying, I have furely vifited you, and feen that which is done to you in Egypt.

17 And I have faid, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt, unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebufites, unto a land flowing with milk and heny.

18 And they hallhearken to thy voice: and thou fhalt come, thou and the elders of Ifrael, unto the king of Egypt, and you shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us; and now let us go (we beseech thee) three days journey into the wildernefs, that we may facrifice to the LORD our God.

199 And I am fure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand." 20 And I will ftretch out my hand, and fmite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof and after that he will let you go.

21 And I will give this people favour in the fight of the Egyptians: and it fhall come to pals, that when ye go, ye fhall not go empty: 22 But every woman fhall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that fojourneth in her houfe, jewels of filver, and jewels of gold, and raiment and ye fhall put them upon your fons, and upon your daughters; and ye fhall spoil the Egyptians.

CHAP. IV.

Nefes rod turned into a ferpent, 6 His hand Leprous. 21 Gods meffage to Pharaoh. ANd Mofes aniwered, and faid, But be, hold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will fay, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.

2 And the LORD faid unto him, What that in thine hand? And he faid, A rod. 3 And he faid, Caft it on the ground; and he caft it on the ground, and it became a ferpent: and Moles fled from before it.

4 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand.

That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Ifaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.

6 And the LORD faid furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bofom; and he put his hand into his bofom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand m leprous as fnow.

7 And he faid, Put thine hand into thy bofom age: and he put his hand into his bofom again, and plucked it out of his bofom, and behold, it was turned again as his ather flesh.

He is loath to be fent to Egypt.

8 And it fhall come to pafs, if they will not believe thee,neither hearken to the voice of the first fign, that they will believe the voice of the latter fign.

9 And it fhall come to pafs, if they will not believe alfo these two figns, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour is upon the dry land: and the water which thou takeft out of the river, fhall become blood upon the dry land.

109 And Mofes faid unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor fince thou haft spoken unto thy fervant: but I am flow of speech, and of a flow tongue.

11 And the LORD faid unto him, Who hath made mans mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the feeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?

1a Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt fay.

13 And he faid,O my Lord,fend I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt fend.

14 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Mofes, and he faid, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can fpeak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he feeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.

15 And thou shalt fpeak unto him, and puc words in his mouth; and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you, what ye thall do.

16 And he thall be thy fpokefman unto the people: and he fhall be, even he fhall be to thee inftead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.

17 And thou fhalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do figns.

18 And Mofes went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and faid unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren, which are in Egypt, and fee whe ther they be yet alive. And Jethro faid to Mofes, Go in peace.

19 And the LORD faid unto Mofes in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which fought thy life.

10 And Mofes took his wife, and his fons, and fet them upon an afs, and he returned to the land of Egypt. And Mofes took the rod of God in his hand.

21 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, When thou goeft to return into Egypt, fee that thou do all thofe wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand; but I will harden his heart, that he fhall not let the people go.

22 And thoufhalt fay untoPharaoh, Thus faith the LORD, Ifrael is my fon,even my first-born.

23 And I fay unto thee, Let my fon ga, that he may ferve me: and if thou refute to let him go, behold, I will Day thy fon, ezen thy first-born.

24 And it came to pafs by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and fought to kill him.

25 Then Zipporah took a sharp ftore, and cut off the foreskin of her fon, and caff is at his feet, and faid, Surely a bloody husband art then to me.

26 So

Pharaoh chideth Mofes and Aaron.

EXODUS.

26 So he let him go: then the faid, A bloody Busband thou art because of the circumcifion.

27 And the LORD faid unto Aaron, Go into the wildernels to meet Mofes. And he went and met him in the mount of God, and kiffed him.

28 And Mofes told Aaron all the words of the LORD, who had fent him, and all the figns which he had commanded him. 29 And Mofes and Aaron went, and gathered together all the elders of the children of Ifrael.

30 And Aaron fpake all the words which the LORD had fpoken unto Mofes, and did the figns in the light of the people.

31 And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had vifited the children of Ifrael, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped. CHAP. V.

1 Pharaoh chideth Mofes and Aaron. 5 He increafeth the Ifraelites task. 22 Mofes complaineth to God.

Nd afterward Mofes and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, Thus faith the LORD God of Ifrael, Let my people go, that they may hold a feaft unto me in the wilderness.

2 And Pharaoh faid, Who is the LORD, that I fhould obey his voice to let Ifrael go? I know not the LORD, neither wiH I let Ifrael go.

3 And they faid, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days journey into the defert, and facrifice unto the LORD our God; left he fall upon us with peftilence, or with the fword.

4 And the king of Egypt faid unto them, Wherefore do ye, Mofes and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.

And Pharaoh faid, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and you make them reft from their burdens.

6 And Pharaoh commanded the fame day the task-mafters of the people, and their offcers, faying,

Ye fhall no more give the people ftraw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather ftraw for themselves.

8 And the tale of the bricks which they did make heretofore, you fhall lay upon them; you fhall not diminith ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, faying, Let us go and facrifice to our God.

9 Let there more work be laid upon the men that they may labour therein: and let them not regard vain words.

And the task-mafters of the people went out, and their officers, and they fpake to the people, faying, Thus faith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw.

II Go ye, get you ftraw where you can find it yet not ought of your work fhall be diminished.

12 So the people were feattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt, to gather Stubble inftead of ftraw.

13 And the task-mafters hafted them, fay ing, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.

Deliverance promised.

14 And the officers of the children of Ifrael, which Pharaohs task-mafters had fet over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick, both yesterday and to day, as heretofore?

159 Then the officers of the children of Ifrael, came and cried unto Pharaoh, laying, Wherefore dealeft thou thus with thy fervants?

16 There is no ftraw given unto thy fervants, and they fay to us, Make brick: and behold thy fervants are beaten; but the fault in thine own people.

17 But he faid, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye fay, Let us go, and do facrifice to the LORD.

18 Go therefore now and work: for there fhall no ftraw be given you, yet fhall ye de liver the tale of bricks.

19 And the officers of the children of If rael did fee that they were in evil cafe, after it was faid, Ye fhall not minifh ought from your bricks of your daily task.

20 q And they met Mofes and Aaron, who food in the way as they came forth from Pharaoh.

21 And they faid unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because you have made our favour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his fervants, to put a fword in their hands to flay us.

22 And Mofes returned unto the LORD. and faid, Lord, wherefore haft thou fo evil intreated this people? why is it that thou haft fent me?

23 For fince I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither haft thou delivered thy people at all.

CHAP. VI.
I God reneweth his promife by his name E-
HOVAH. 14 The genealogy of Reuben, 15 of
Simeon, 16 of Levi."

Hen the LORD faid unto Mofes, Now fhalt thou fee what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand fhall he fet them go, and with a strong hand fhall he drive them out of his land.

z And God fpake unto Mofes, and faid unto him, I am the LORD:

3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Ifaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

4 And I have alfo eftablished my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.

And I have alfo heard the groaning of the children of Ifrael, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage: and I have remembred my covenant.

6 Wherefore fay unto the children of Ifrael, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians,and I will rid you out of their bondage: and I will redeem you with a ftretched-out arm, and with great judgments.

And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye thali know that I am the LORD your God, which

8 And I will bring you in unto the land concerning the which I did fwear to give it, to Abraham, to Ifaac, and to Jacob; and will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.

99 And Mofes fpake fo unto the children of Ifrael: but they hearkned not unto Mofes, for anguish of fpirit, and for cruel bondage.

To And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

11 Go in, fpeak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Ifrael go out of his land.

12 And Mofes fpake before the LORD, faying, Behold, the children of Ifrael have not hearkned unto me; how then. fhall

lips?

Mofes encouraged to go to Pharaoh.

27 Thefe are they which fpake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Ifrael from Egypt: there are that Mofes and Aaron. 28 And it came to pafs on the day when the LORD fpake unto Mofes in the land of Egypt

29 That the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying, I am the LORD: fpeak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I fay unto thee.

30 And Mofes faid before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcifed lips, and how fhall Pharaoh hearken unto me?

CHAP. VII.

1 Mofes it encouraged to go to Pharaoh. 8 His rod turned into a ferpent. 13 Pharaohs heart is hardned. 19 The river is turned into blood.

Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcifed ANd the LORD faid unto Mofes, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother fhall be thy prophet. 2 Thou shalt fpeak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother fhall speak unto Pharaoh, that he fend the children of Ifrael out of his land.

13 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Ifrael,and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt; to bring the children of Ifrael out of the land of Egypt.

149 Thefe be the heads of their fathers hcutes: The fons of Reuben the firft-born of Ifrael; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: thefe be the families of Reuben.

15 And the fons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar,and Shaul the fon of a Canaanitith woman: thefe are the families of Simeon.

16 9 And thefe are the names of the fons of Levi, according to their generations; Gerfhon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi were an hundred thirty and feven years.

17 The fons of Gerthon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.

18 And the fons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: And the years of the life of Kohath were an hundred thirty and three years.

19 And the fons of Merari; Mahali and Muthi: there are the families of Levi, according to their generations.

20 And Amram took him Jochebed his fathers fifter to wife; and the bare him Aaron and Mofes and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and feven years.

214 And the fons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

22 And the fons of Uzziel; Mifhael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri.

23 And Aaron took him Elifheba daughter of Amminadab, fifter of Naafbon, to wife and the bare him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

24 And the fons of Korah; Affir, and Elkanah, and Abiafaph: there are the families of the Korhites.

25 And Eleazar Aarons fon took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and the bare him Phinehas: there are the heads of the fathers of the Levites, according to their famities.

26 Thefe are that Aaron and Mofes, to whom the LORD faid, Bring out the children of Ifrael from the land of Egypt, ac cording to their armies.

3 And I will harden Pharaohs heart, and multiply my figns and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

4 But Pharaoh fhall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth nine armies, and my people the children of Ifrael, out of the land of Egypt, by great judgments.

And the Egyptians fhall know, that I am the LORD, when I ftretch forth mine hand upon Egypt,and bring out the children of. Ifrael from among them.

6 And Moles and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them, fo did they.

And Moles was fourfcore years old, and Aaron four core and three years old, when they fpake unto Pharaoh.

8q And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, and unto Aaron, faying,

9 When Pharaoh fhall fpeak unto you, faying, Shew a miracle for you: then thau fhalt fay unto Aarón, Take thy rod and caft it before Pharaoh, and it fhall become a ferpent.

10 And Mofes and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did it fo as the LORD had commanded and Aaron caft down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his fervants, and it became a ferpent.

11 Then Pharaoh alfo called the wifemen, and the forcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they alfo did in like manner with their inchantments.

12 For they caft down every man his rod, and they became ferpents: but Aarons rod Iwallowed up their rods.

13 And he hardned Pharaohs heart, that he hearkned not unto them; as the LORD had faid.

14 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Pharaohs heart is hardned, he refufeth to let the people go.

15 Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning, lo, he goeth out unto the water, and thou halt ftand, by the rivers brink; against he come: and the rod which was turned to a ferpent halt thou take in thine hand.

16 And thou halt fay wito hum, The LORD God

The plague of frogs,

EXODUS.

God of the Hebrews, hath feat me unto thee, faying, Let my people go, that they may ferve me in the wilderness: and be hold, hitherto thou wouldst not hear.

17 Thus faith the LORD, In this thou fhalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will fmite with the rod that in mine hand, up on the waters which are in the river, and they fhall be turned to blood.

18 And the fith that in the river fhall die, and the river fhall ftink; and the Egyptians fhall loath to drink of the water of

the river.

199 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes,Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their ftreams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in reffels of wood, and in effels of ftene.

20 And Mofes and Aaron did fo, as the LORD commanded: and he lift up the rod, and fmote the waters that were in the river, in the fight of Pharaoh, and in the fight of his fervants: and all the waters that were in the river, were turned to blood.

21 And the fish that was in the river, died and the river ftunk, and the Egypti ans could not drink of the water of the river: and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.

22 And the magicians of Egypt did fo with their inchantments: and Pharaohs heart was hardned,neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had faid.

23 And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he fet his heart to this alfo.

24 And all the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink for they could not drink of the water of the

river.

25 And feven days were fulfilled, after that the LORD had fmitten the river.

CHAP. VILI.

I Frogs are fent. 16 The duft is turned to lice. 20 The Swarms of Ries. 25 Pharaoh inclineth to let the people go, 32 but yet is hardned.

Hoe, and pies, &e. 7 And the magicians did fo with their inchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

84 Then Pharaoh called for Mofes and Aaron, and faid, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people: and I will let the people ge that they may do facrifice unto the LORD.

9 And Mofes faid unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when thall I intreat for thee, and for thy fervants, and for thy people, to deftroy the frogs from thee, and thy hoafes, that they may remain in the river only?

10 And he faid, To morrow. And he faid, Re it according to thy word: that thou may. et know, that there none like unto the LORD our God.

11 And the frogs fhall depart from thee, and from thy houles, and from thy fervants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.

12 And Mofes and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Mofes cried unto the LORD, because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

13 And the LORD did according to the word of Mofes: and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.

14 And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land ftank.

15 But when Pharaoh faw that there was refpite, he hardned his heart, and hearkned not unto them; as the LORD had faid.

169 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Sayt unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and fmite the duft of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

And they did fo; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and fmote the dust of the earth, and it became lice, in man and in beaft: all the duft of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

18 And the magicians did fo with their inchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: fo there were lice upon man,and upon beaft.

19 Then the magicians faid unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaohs

to Pharaoh, and fay unto him, Thus faith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may ferve me.

2.And if thou refufe to let them go, behold, I will imite all thy borders with frogs.

3 And the river thall bring forth frogs abundantly, which fhall go up and come into thine houfe, and into thy bed-chamber, and upon thy bed, and into the houfe of thy fervants, and upon thy people, and into thine Ovens, and into thy kneading-troughs.

4 And the frogs fhall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy fervants.

And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy red over the ftreams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and caufe frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

6 And Aaron ftretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the Lind of Egypt.

20 q And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Rife up early in the morning, and ftand before Pharaoh, (lo, he cometh forth to the wa ter) and lay unto him, Thus faith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may ferve me.

21 Elfe if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will fend fwarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy fervants, and upon thy people, and into thy houfes and the houses of the Egyptians fhall be full of fwarms of flies, and alfo the ground whereon they are."

22 And I will fever in that day the land of Gothen, in which my people dwell, that no fwarms of flies, fhall be there; to the end thou mayeft know, that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

23 And I will put a divifion between my people, and thy people to morrow thall this fign be.

24 And the LORD did fo: and there came a grie

a grievous fwarm of flies into the houfe of Pharaoh, and into his fervants houfes, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reafon of the fwarm of flies. 254 And Pharaoh called for Mofes, and for Aaron, and faid, Go ye, facrifice to your God in the land.

26 And Mofes faid, It is not meet fo to do; for we fhall facrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: Lo, fhall we facrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not ftone us?

27 We will go three days journey into the wildemefs, and facrifice to the LORD our God, as he fhall command us.

28 And Pharaoh faid, I will let you go, that ye may facrifice to the LORD your God, in the wilderness; only you fhall not go very far away: intreat for me.

29 And Mofes faid, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the LORD, that the Twarms of fies may depart from Pharaoh,from his fervants, and from his people, to morrow but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more, in not letting the people go to facrifice to the LORD.

30 And Mofes went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the LORD.

31 And the LORD did according to the word of Mofes; and he removed the fwarms offies from Pharaoh, from his fervants, and from his people: there remained not one. 32 And Pharaoh hardned his heart at this ime alfo, neither would he let the people go. CHAP. IX.

The murrain of beafts. 8 The plague of boyls, and blains. 22 The plague of hail. Then the LORD faid unto Mofes, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus faith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may ferve me.

2 For if thou refufe to let them go, and wilt hold them still,

3 Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattel which in the field, upon the horfes, upon the affes, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the theep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.

4 And the LORD fhall fever between the cattel of Ifrael, and the cattel of Egypt: and there fhall nothing die of all that is the chil drens of Ifrael.

5. And the LORD appointed a fet time, faying, To morrow the LORD fhall do this thing in the land.

6 And the LORD did that thing on the and all the cattel of Egypt died: but of the cattel of the children of Ifrael

morrow,

died not one.

7 And Pharaoh fent, and behold, there was not one of the cattel of the Ifraelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardned, and he did not let the people go.

8 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of athes of the furnace, and let Mofes fprinkle it to wards the heaven in the fight of Pharaoh. 9And it fhall become fmall duft in all the fand of Egypt, and fhall be a boyl breaking forth with blains, upon man, and upon beat throughout all the land of Egypt.

12 And the LORD hardned: the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkned not unto them as the LORD had spoken unto Mofes.

13 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Rife up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and fay unto him, Thus faith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may ferve me.

14 For I will at this time fend all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy fervants, and upon thy people: that thou mayeft know that there none like me in all the earth.

15 For now I will ftretch out my hand that I may fmite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.

16 And in very deed for this canfe have I raised thee up, for to fhew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared through out all the earth.

17 As yet exalteft thou thy felf against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?

18 Behold, to morrow about this time, I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, fuch as hath not been in Egypt, fince the foundation thereof, even until now.

19 Send therefore now, and gather thy cattel, and all that thou haft in the field: for upon every man and beaft which shall be found in the held, and fhall not be brought

home, the hail thall come down upon them, and they fhall die.

20 He that feared the word of the LORD amongst the fervants of Pharaoh, made his fervants and his cattel fee into the houses.

21 And he that regarded not the word of the LORD, left his fervants and his cattel in the field.

22 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt; upon man, and upon beaft, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.

23 And Mofes ftretched forth his rod toward heaven, and the LORD fent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, fuch as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt,

fince it became a nation.

25 And the hail fmote throughout all the land of Egypt, all that was in the field, both man and beaft: and the hail fmote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.

26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Ifrael were, was theremo hail.

27 And Pharaoh fent, and called for Mo fes and Aaron, and faid unto them, I have finned th time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

28 Intreat the LORD (for it is enough)

that there be no more mighty thundrings and
