he is fo wife in his own Conceit, that he imagines, if he had been the Creator, he could have made Materials of Earth and Water of nothing at all, even by the Power of his own Word fpeaking only, as well as have formed what he pleafed of thofe Materials afterwards: Or that he could have formed it only by his Word fpeaking, without any material Substance at all. Thus being fhut up in utter Darkness, he calls his very Reafon the divine Nature of God, when God knows he nor no mortal Man elfe hath any pure Reafon at all, but his Understanding' is all Confufion, in refpect of knowing any thing of the Matter, or Manner, of the true Creation of God, or any eternal fpiritual Things, which as yet are invifible to Mortals, but vifible only to Mofes, Elias, Enoch, and the elect Angels, in the perfonal Prefence of the Lord Jefus Chrift, God-Man, or ManGod, bleffed for ever and ever.

Again, For want of the true difcerning of the divine Voice of the Holy Spirit of the true Faith, to diftinguish between the Voice of God's Spirit, and the Voice of their own unclean Spirit, the Devil in them; they call God the Devil, and the Devil God; and fo they being left, willingly are ignorant of any other World, or God, or Angels, or Glory to come, but what is within this World only. The which Orb is but the Foot-ftool of our God, it being but as a Mole-hill, to a mighty Mountain, in Comparison of that eternal Kingdom of Glory, which is above the Stars, without the Glory of this perishing World. Wherefore, because they are referved under the Guards of eternal Darknefs, from this their utter Darkness, they judge themselves only in the eternal Light, and blafphemously call themselves, who are mortal Duft, Eternity, everlasting Love, or I am, and there is none befides me, or one pure Being, with the Creator, wholly taking all the glorious Titles of the Eternal Majefty upon them, who by no Means will give his Glory to Men of Angels, either of his Nature or his Names.

Again, If a Man talks with these high flown Atheistical Notionifts, concerning Knowledge of any God at all, or of a Life to come, they abhor it, because it is hid from them. But they love to fpeak, or hear of an unknown God, which they call an infinite, invifible, incomprehenfible Spirit, which

(as they fay) is effential in all Places, and all Things, at once; and feeth all Things, heareth all Things, and understandeth all Things particularly, and yet hath no Eyes to fee, nor Ears to hear, nor Spirit to understand any Thing at all, through distinct Form, or Person of his own. This is the blind Reprobates World, or imaginary God, only of bare Words, who are left under eternal perishing Darkness.

A general Treatife of the Three Records, or Difpenfations.

Written in the Year of my Commiffion, received by Voice of the Lord Jefus from Heaven, 1651, and in the 27th of July, 1652, by Revelation from the Man Jefus, my God alone; unto all the Elect, that look for the Appearing of the One only, immortal, invifible, wife God, and alone eternal Father, the Lord Jefus Chrift, God, blessed for ever, of all the Elect, Men and Angels. By John Reeve, and the Holy Spirit's true Minister of the third and laft Difpenfation of the Lord Jefus, unto all the Elect World.

HERE are three Difpenfations, or Commiffions of the Lord, unto the Elect World, and but three. The First of Mofes and the Prophets. The Second of Jefus and the Apoftles. The Third and laft are the Tw Witnesses in the Eleventh of the Revelations: Who are the true Minifters of the Holy Spirit, revealing or declaring the Mind of God, the Man Jefus, unto all the Elect World, who are the Seed of the Woman, the Children of Faith, which is the divine Nature of God.

Again, I declare by Revelation from the Lord Jefus, that all the Lord's Commiffioners have Power given them to bless, or to curse, and it is fo; therefore it had been good for them that are left to despise them, that they had never been born.

Again, The three Commiffioners, and they only, are Chrift's Witneffes, because they have the Gift of the Holy Ghost, or Spirit of Revelation, to interpret the Scriptures; therefore all that are faved, fhall bow unto the Revelations of God in them.

Again, I declare from the Lord Jefus, that all the Prophets, and Priests, that were in the Time of Mofes, were Liars, except they were called of the Lord, as Mofes and Aaron were, or were called by Succeffion from them; therefore it is a moft

dangerous

dangerous Thing for a Man to take upon him the Place of a Prophet, a Prieft, or Levite, or Minifter, without a Commiffion from the Lord. What do they, but offer ftrange Fire unto the Lord, as Corah, Dathan, and Abiram did, before they were called to the Office, by God's Commiffioners, and bring a Curfe upon their own Souls? Remember Jezabel's Prophets: Were they not cut in Pieces for drawing the Princes Hearts from the true Worship of the living God? And this their Ignorance of God was, because they went before they were fent. Therefore lying Prophets, for Silver, are in a perifhing Condition, with all the Scripture-Merchants in the World.

Again, I declare from the Lord, that Mofes was the first Prophet that wrote Scriptures by Commiffion from the Lord. (Note) By Infpiration from the Spirit of Revelation, God witneffing from Heaven, by Signs and Wonders, that his Commiffion was from the Lord.

Now the Commiffion of Mofes was full of Ceremonies, Ordinances, and Shadows, concerning Things to come, very tedious unto the People. So long as the Commiffion of Mofes and the Prophets continued, there was no Nation under Heaven had any Thing of true Worship of God, but the Jews only, and thofe that joined with the Jews; because the Oracles of God were committed to the Jews only. Salvation is of the Jews, as it is written.

Again, I declare from the Lord Jefus, that the Law of Mofes, both moral and ceremonial, with all the Jewish Obfervations, or Worship whatsoever, did belong to the Jews only; and this their Worship continued until Chrift, and no longer, who was the Giver of the Law, and the Fulfiller of that Law only, and the putting down that Worship, and obferving of the Law of Mofes for ever. Therefore accurfed be that Man that fets up the Worship which God pulls down, or pulls down that Worship which God fets up, until God remands it himself; for that is adding and diminishing of the Word of God, in the Book of Scriptures.

Again, I declare from the Lord, that the Sword of Steel did belong in Mofes's Commiffion to the Nation of the Jews, and never to be used in the two Commiffions following, by any that profeft the Faith of Jefus, being utterly unlawful by

the Command of God, the Man Jefus, in his fecond Commiffion.

Again, I declare from the Lord, that God never revealed to Mofes, nor any of his Prophets, in what Manner his Worship fhould be in the second Difpenfation, by Jesus and the Apostles, because he will have all the Honour; therefore by his own Wifdom his Counfels are unfearchable, and his Ways paft finding

out.

Again, I declare from the Lord, that every true Commiffioner hath the several Manners of the Worship of God committed unto his Charge, to declare unto Men, and that when the fecond Commiffioner declares his Meffage of Worship from the Lord, then the Worship of the first Meffenger is ended, never to be more. So likewife when the third and laft Commissioner declares his Meffage of the Manner of Worship of God, then is the fecond Commiffion ended likewife for evermore. Thus every Commiffioner is to mind his own Charge only, and and to be faithful in his Truft, having nothing to do with one another's Commiffion, concerning the Worfhip of God, but to be faithful unto God, in all Things committed to their Charge, that they may give up the Account of their Stewardship with Joy, receiving that Reward, or Crown of Glory, with the Lord Jefus, in his everlasting Kingdom.

Thus Mofes was faithful in all his Houfe, with the Prophets, in the Time of the Law, unto the End of their Commiffion, all of them fuffering Perfecution for their Meffage-fake, and fome of them Death itfelf.

Again, I declare from the Lord, that the Jews, long before the Commiffion of Jefus, appeared, perfecuted, and put to Death the true Commiffioners, and Interpreters of the Law of Mofes; and when they had fo done, they got up into Mofes's Chair, not being fent, but by Violence, and fo became the Scripture-Interpreters, that was given to Mofes and the Prophets only; and finding that being the Lords of the Letter of Scripture, and fkilfully merchandizing them, great Honour and Wealth came thereby, making them equal with the Princes; they took Counsel together, and made a Decree, that none but the Learned only should meddle with the Interpretation of Scripture.
