25 He then, lying on Jesus' breast, saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

26 Jesus answered, He it is to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot the son of Simon. 27 bAnd after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.

29 For some of them thought, ch. 12.6. because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

30 He then, having received the sop, went immediately out: and it was night.

ET not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that dwherelam, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and fthe truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7ilf ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? khe that hath seen me, hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself: but the Father, that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: Por else believe me for the very works' sake.

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 PAnd whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15 T If ye love me, keep my commandments:

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: bthy word is truth. 18 i As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanc-142, 151. tify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20 Neither pray I for these alone; but for them also which shall believe on me through their word: 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me, I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one; 23 I in them, and thou in me, "that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.

24 P Father, I will that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

26 "And I have declared unto them thy name, and willdeclare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.

11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Putupthysword into the sheath: "the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it? 12 Then the band, and the captain, and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him,

13 And led him away to i Annas first, (for he was father-inlaw to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.)|| 14 Now Caiaphas was he which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one

man should die for the people.
