LORD Jesu Christ, Son of the living God, interpose Thy Passion, Cross and Death, between Thy judgment and my soul, now and in the hour of my death.

Vouchsafe to give me grace and mercy, pardon to all sinners, peace to Thy Church, and the consummation of happiness to all Thine elect; who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

BESEECH Thee also, O Blessed Jesu, to conform me to Thy bitter Passion, that I may, for love of Thee, bear patiently, and in all humility of heart, without murmuring or contradiction, all injury, derision, detraction, and persecution, all adversity and tribulation, and all Thy Fatherly correction, which Thou shalt please to send me; and that I may always glorify Thee, and render Thee perpetual thanks and praise for the same.
