ORDER OF WORSHIP.

While the people are assembling, a voluntary may be played upon the

organ.

INTRODUCTION.

The congregation being seated, the Minister, opening the Word, may read one or more of the following passages.

JEHOVAH is in his holy Temple; let all the earth keep silence before him. Hab. ii. 20.

ENTER into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise be thankful unto him, and bless his name. - Ps. c. 4.

ONE thing have I desired of JEHOVAH, that will 1 seek after; that I may dwell in the house of JEHOVAH all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of JEHOVAH, and to inquire in his temple. Ps. xxvii. 4.

GIVE unto JEHOVAH, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto JEHOVAH glory and strength: give unto JEHOVAH the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. O worship JEHOVAH in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. Ps. xcvi. 7, 8, 9.

FOR from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same, my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name
