warning of friends, make not light of the admonitions of parents, refuse not to receive instruction; but pray to God to give you grace, "To incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thy heart to understanding!" Rememder, that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and to depart from evil, that is understanding ;" and also, that "The ways of religion are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are paths of peace.
