Thus did the Son of God in human nature, accomplish the work of His divine mission, and having established a better Covenant, introduced a new and spiritual dispensation: He has ascended into heaven again, and is re-seated on his

Father's throne, there ever making intercession for his people; till he shall appear the second time, and take upon himself his Kingly office: then shall the kingdom of this world be His. Then shall every knee bow to him, and acknowledge Him, Lord of Lords and King of Kings, to the glory of God the Father."

Do not all then who are looking out for and waiting for the second advent of Christ, desire to be instrumental in hastening forward the work which must be accomplished; of bearing testimony from sea to sea, and from shore to shore, that

Christ has been born in Bethlehem and ascended again into heaven, and will come again to restore his ancient people and reign gloriously in the midst of them in Zion, bringing in that blessed period, when he shall break the swords into plowshares, and the spears into pruning-hooks, and the people learn war no more; I repeat, what can be so stimulating a motive to aid the work of missions in every way in our power as the one alluded to?" Even so come, Lord Jesus, come quickly, Amen."
