It may not here be improper to add the MAGNIFICENT Representation of the GLORY, MAJESTY, and Terror with which our SAVIOUR fhall appear when he comes to JUDGE the World. MATTH. XXV. THEN the Son of MAN fhall COME in his Ver. 31 W GLORY, and all the holy ANGELS with him, then fhall he SIT upon the THRONE of his GLORY. 32 And BEFORE him shall be GATHERED all NATIONS; and he fhall SEPARATE them one from another, as a Shepherd divideth his Sheep from the Goats. 33 And he fhall SET the SHEEP on his RIGHT HAND, but the Goats on the LEFT. 34 Then fhall the KING fay unto them on his RIGHT HAND, COME ye BLESSED of my Father, INHERIT the KINGDOM prepared for you from the FOUNDATION of the WORLD. 41 Then shall he fay also unto them on the Left Hand, DEPART from me ye CURSED, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the DEVIL and his Angels. 46 And these fhall go away into EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT, but the Righteous into LIFE ETERNAL. ACTS XVII. Ver.31GOW OD hath appointed a Day, in the which he will JUDGE the WORLD in Righteousness, by that MAN whom he hath ORDAINED; whereof he hath given ASSURANCE unto all Men, in that he hath RAISED him from the DEAD. 2 THESS. I. Ver.7 THE LORD JESUS fhall be REVEALED from Heaven with his MIGHTY ANGELS, THE 8 In FLAMING FIRE, taking VENGEANCE on them that KNOW not GOD, and OBEY not the GOSPEL of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. 9 Who fhall be PUNISHED with an EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION from the PRESENCE of the LORD, and from the GLORY of his POWER; 10 When he shall COME to be GLORIFIED in his SAINTS, and to be ADMIRED in all them that BELIEVE, HEB. HEB. X. Ver. 28 LTE that DESPISED Mofes's Law, DIED without Mercy under two or three Witneffes. H 29 Of how much SORER PUNISHMENT fuppofe ye shall he be thought worthy, who hath TRODDEN under Foor the Son of GOD, and hath COUNTED the BLOOD of the COVENANT wherewith he was fanctified an UNHOLY Thing, and hath done DESPITE unto the SPIRIT of GRACE. 30 For we know him that hath faid, VENGEANCE belongeth unto me, I will recompenfe, faith the LORD. And again, the LORD fhall JUDGE his PEOPLE. I COR. XV. TH HE TRUMPET fhall found, and the DEAD shall be RAISED incorruptible, and we shall be Ver. 52 changed. I THESS. IV. Ver. 16 THE LORD himself shall DESCEND from HEA ARCHANGEL, and with the TRUMP of GOD, and the Dead in CHRIST fhall rife first. 17 Then we which are alive and remain, shall be CAUGHT up together with them in the CLOUDs, to MEET the LORD in the Air: and fo fhall we EVER be with the LORD. Ver.11 REV. XX. A ND I faw a great WHITE THRONE, and him that SAT on it, from whofe FACE the EARTH and the HEAVEN FLED away, and there was found no Place for them. 12 And I SAW the Dead, SMALL and GREAT, STAND before GOD; and the Books were OPENED and another Book was opened which is the Book of LIFE and the DEAD were JUDGED out of thofe Things which were written in the Books according to their WORKS. 13 And the SEA gave up the DEAD which were in it, and DEATH and HELL gave up the DEAD which were in them and they were JUDGED every Man according to their WORKS. |
