dreamed two dreams to the same effect: and he sent and called all the wise men of Egypt, and told them his dreams, but no one could interpret them. Pharaoh having heard of Joseph in prison sent and called him; and said, I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream, to interpret it. And Joseph answered, it is not in me, but God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace. And Pharaoh related unto Joseph his dreams and Joseph said, the dream is one: God hath shewn Pharaoh what he is about to do. Behold, there shall come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt; and there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of the famine, for it shall be very grievous. And for that the dream was repeated unto Pharaoh twice, it is because the thing is established by God; and God will shortly bring it to pass. Now, therefore, let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt, and let him appoint officers, and take up the fifth part of the pro
