8 Neither will I any more remove the Foot of Ifrael from out of the Land which I have appointed for your Fathers; fo that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole Law, and the Statutes, and the Ordinances by the Hand of Moses.
9 So Manaffeh made Judah and the Inhabitants of Jerufalem to ERR, and to do WORSE than the Heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed.
10 And the LORD fpake to Manaffeh, and to his People, by his Servants the Prophets, faying,
2 KINGS XXI.
11 Because Manaffeh King of Judah hath done thefe Abominations, and hath done wickedly, above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah alfo to fin with his Idols:
12 Therefore thus faith the LORD GOD of Ifrael, Behold, I am bringing fuch Evil upon Jerufalem and Judah, that whofoever heareth of it, both his Ears fhall tingle.
13 And I will stretch over Jerufalem the Line of Samaria, and the Plummet of the Houfe of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerufalem as a Man wipeth a Dish, wiping it, and turning it upfide down.
14 And I will forfake the Remnant of mine Inheritance, and deliver them into the Hand of their Enemies, and they shall become a Prey, and a Spoil to all their Enemies;
15 Because they have done that which was evil in my fight, and have provoked me to Anger fince the Day their Fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this Day.
16 Moreover, Manaffeh fhed innocent Blood very much, till he had filled Jerufalem from one End to another, befide his Sin wherewith he made Judah to fin, in doing that which was evil in the fight of the LORD.
2 CHRON. XXXIII.
11 Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the Captains of the Hoft of the King of Affyria, which took Manaffeh among the Thorns, and bound him with Fetters, and carried him unto Babylon.
12 And when he was in Affliction, he BESOUGHT the LORD his GOD, and HUмBLED himself greatly before the GOD of his Fathers.
13 And PRAYED unto him, and he was ENTREATED of him, and heard his Supplication, and brought him again to Jerufalem, into his Kingdom. Then Manafleh KNEW that the LORD he was GOD.
Ifai. Iv. 7 Let the Wicked forfake his Way, and the unrighteous Man his Thoughts, and let him RETURN unto the LORD, and he will have MERCY upon him, and to our GOD, and he will abundantly PARDON.
8 For my Thoughts are not your Thoughts, neither are your Ways my Ways, faith the LORD.

15 And he took away the strange Gods, and the IDOL out of the House of the LORD, and all the Altars that he had built in the Mount of the House of the LORD, and in Jerufalem, and caft them out of the City.
16 And he repaired the Altar of the LORD, and facrificed thereon Peace-offerings, and Thank-offerings, and commanded Judah to ferve the LORD GOD of Ifrael.
17 Nevertheless, the People did facrifice ftill in the high Places, yet unto the LORD their GoD only.
18 Now the rest of the Acts of Manaffeh, and his Prayer unto his GOD, and the Words of the Seers that fpake to him in the Name of the LORD GOD of Ifrael, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Ifrael.
19 His Prayer alfo, and how GOD was intreated of him, and all his Sin, before he was humbled; they are written among the Sayings of the Seers.
20 So Manaffeh flept with his Fathers, and they buried him in his own House: and Amon his Son reigned in his ftead.
21 Amon was two and twenty Years old when he began to reign, and reigned two Years in Jerufalem.
22 But he did that which was EVIL in the fight of the LORD, as did Manaffeh his Father: for Amon facrificed
unto all the CARVED IMAGES which Manaffeh had made, and ferved them;
23 And HUMBLED not himself before the LORD, as Manaffeh his Father had humbled himself; but Amon trefpaffed more and more.
24 And his Servants confpired against him, and flew him in his own House.
25 But the People of the Land flew all them that had confpired against King Amon, and the People of the Land made JOSIAH his Son King in his ftead.

II And he took away the Horfes that the Kings of Judah had given to the SUN, at the Entring in of the Houfe of the LORD, by the Chamber of Nathan-Melech the Chamberlain which was in the Suburbs, and burnt the Chariots of the Sun with Fire.
12 And the Altars that were on the top of the upper Chamber
Chamber of Ahaz, which the Kings of Judah had made, and the Altars which Manaffeh had made in the two Courts of the House of the LORD, did the King beat down, and brake them down from thence, and caft the Duft of them into the Brook Kidron.
13 And the high Places that were before Jerufalem, which were on the right hand of the Mount of Corruption, which Solomon the King of Ifrael had builded for Afhtoreth the Abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemofh the Abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the Abomination of the Children of Ammon, did the King defile.
14 And he brake in pieces the Images, and cut down the Groves, and filled their Places with the Bones of Men.
15 Moreover, the Altar that was at Beth-el, and the high Place which Jeroboam, had made, both that Altar and the high Place he brake down, and burnt the high Place, and stampt it small to Powder, and burnt the Grove.

8 Now in the eighteenth +Year of his Reign, when he had purged the Land, and the

15 And Hilkiah faid to Shaphan the Scribe, I have found the Book of the LAW in the Houfe of the LORD. And Hilkiah delivered the Book to Shaphan :
16 And Shaphan carried the Book to the King. 18 And Shaphan read it before the King.
19 And it came to pafs when the King had heard the WORDS of the LAW, that he rent his Cloaths.
20 And the King commanded Hilkiah, and Ahikam, and Abdon, and Shaphan, and Asaiah, saying,
21 Go, enquire of the LORD for me, and for them that are LEFT in ISRAEL, and in Judah, concerning the WORDS of the Book that is found: for great is the WRATH of the LORD that is poured out upon us, because our Fathers have not KEPT the Word of the LORD, to do after all that is written in this Book.
22 And Hilkiah, and they that the King had appointed, went to HULDAH the PROPHETESS, and they fpake to her to that Effect.

25 Because they have FORSAKEN me, and have burned Incenfe unto other Gods, that they might provoke me to Anger with all the Works of their Hands; therefore my Wrath fhall be poured out upon this Place, and shall not be quenched.
