Jer. xxiii. 10 Because of SWEARING, the Land MOURNETH.

Matth. v. 33 Ye have heard that it hath been faid by them of old Time, Thou shalt not FORSWEAR thyself, but thalt perform unto the LORD thine OATHS.

34 But I say unto you, SWEAR not at ALL; neither by Heaven, for it is GOD's Throne:

35 Nor by the Earth, for it is his Footstool: neither by Jerufalem, for it is the City of the great King,

36 Neither halt thou swEAR by thy Head, becaufe thou canst not make

one Hair white or black.

37 But let your Communication be YEA, YEA; NAY, NAY: for whatsoever is more than thefe, cometh of EVIL.

IV. 8 Remember the Subbath-day, to keep it holy. 9 Six Days Chalt thou labour, and do all thy Wozk. to But the fedenth Day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any Work, thou, no: thy on, no: thy Daughter, thy Manfervant, not thy Mid-fer bant, not thy Cattle, noz thy Stranger that is within thy Gates.

11 for in fir Days the Lord made Heaven and Earth, the :a, and all that in them is, and tested the leventh Day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath-day, and hallowed

it.

V. 12 Honour thy Father and the Mother: that thy Days may be long tipon the Land which the Lord thy God gibeth thee.

and thou mayft LIVE long in the Earth.

3 That it may be wELL with thee,

45 That ye may be the Children of your Father which is in Heaven, for he maketh his Sun to rife on the Evil, and on the Good, and fendsth Rain on the Juft, and on the Unjust.

1 John . 15 LOVE not the WORLD, neither the Things that are in the World. If any Man LOVE the WORLD, the LOVE of the Father is not in him.

7 In the which ye alfo walked fome Time, when ye LIVED in them. 8 But now you alfo put off all thefe ; ANGER, WRATH, MALICE, BLASPHEMY, FILTHY COMMUNICATION out of your Mouth.

9 LIE not one to another, feeing that ye have put off the OLD MAN with

his DEEDS:

10 And have put on the NEW MAN, which is renewed in KNOWLEDGE, after the IMAGE of him that CREATED HIM.

Rom. ii. 13 Not the HEARERS of the Law are JUST before GOD, but the DOERS of the LAW fhall be JUSTIFIED.

21 Thou therefore which TEACHEST another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preacheft a Man fhould not fteal, doft thou STEAL?

18 But if ye be LED by the SPIRIT, ye are not under the LAW.

20 IDOLATRY, WITCHCRAFT, HATRED, VARIANCE, EMULATION, WRATH, STRIFE, SEDITIONS. HERESIES.

21 ENVYINGS, MURDERS, DRUNKENNESS REVELLINGS, and fuch like: of the which tell you before, as I have alfo told you in time paft, that they which Do fuch Things, fhall NOT INHERIT the KINGDOM OF GOD.

22 But the FRUIT of the SPIRIT is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONG-SUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH,

23 MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE: against such there is NO LAW.

Jeha i. 16 And, of his FULNESS have all we received, and GRACE for Grace.

17 For the Law was given by MOSES, but GRACE and TRUTH came by JESUS CHRIST.
