Unbelief. 2. This fpeaks the happy condition of
the Saints; they are never upbraided with what
Chrift bath done for them, but when they will not
bave more from him. An Objection Answered.
3. Then total Unbelief is very bad.

Because the cause of a dull Faith is exceeding bad.
Unbelief the Iffue of feveral Sins :As First, Folly;
and that as oppofite, 1. To Knowledge, in Five
Particulars: 2. To Wisdome. Secondly,
Slowness of heart; which implyes Three things:
1. Slothfulneß. 2. Backwardneß. 3. Duli-
neß. Thirdly, Hardneß of Heart: The Ex-
preffions of which in Scripture fignifie Two
things: 1. Stubborneß. 2. Senfeleffneß.
Chap. 8. Application. Take beed of Back-
wardnes to Beleeve.
Chap. 9. A Fourth Sin, of which Unbelief is
the Iffue, Viz. Difordered Foy. This binders
Faith; 1. By the Exceß of it 2. By the
Sweetneß of it. The Fourth Reafon of the
Doctrine, Viz. Because the Effects of Unbelief
are so bad.
