44 But I fay unto you, Love your enemies, blefs them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which defpitefully use you, and perfecute you;

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his fun to rife on the evil and on the good, and fendeth rain on the juft and on the unjust.

3 But when thou doeft alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth :

4 That thine alms may be in fecret: and thy Father which feeth in fecret, himfelf fhall reward thee openly.

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

6 But thou, when thou prayeft, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in fecret; and thy Father which feeth in fecret fhall reward thee openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they fhall be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask him, 9 After this manner there

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. -14 For, if ye forgive men their trefpaffes, your heavenly Father will also forgive you :

15 But if ye forgive not men their trefpaffes, neither will your Father forgive your trefpaffes.

16 Moreover, when ye faft, be not as the hypocrites, of a fad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to faft. Verily I fay unto you, they have their reward.

17 But thou, when thou fafteft, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

where moth and ruft doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal :

20 But lay up for yourfelves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor ruft doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal :

21 For where your treafure is, there will your heart be alfo.

23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body fhall be full of darknefs. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

24 No man can serve two mafters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or elfe he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot ferve God and mammon.
