BE it remembered that on the twenty first day of June in the thirty first year o he independence of the United States of America, David Allinson, of the said dis rict hath deposited in this office the title of a book, the right whereof he claims a roprietor, in the words following, to wit:

"A Compend of History, from the earliest Times: comprehending a genera "View of the present State of the World, with respect to Civilization, Reli "gion and Government, and a brief Dissertation on the Importance of Histo "rical Knowledge. First revised Edition. By Samuel Whelpley, A. M. Prin "cipal of the Morris Academy. In two Volumes."
